I’m always hesitant about Mardi Gras Balls because, overall, I think they are a waste of money and entirely too many people. Last night was EVERYTHING a ball should be. Filled with love and silliness, but also a chance to do something good and fundraise for an amazing cause. Thank you for throwing my favorite party of the year. It was a night for the books.

EVERYONE was in great spirits, EVERY person working this event was very respectful, happy energy, and I did leave with a feeling I was among friends, even though I arrived on my own. Thank You for your wonderful work.

The Friday Night Before Mardi Gras is an event I look forward to all year long! Hands down the best Mardi Gras event of the season - with wonderful costumes, dancing, drinks and friends- with the added bonus of being for a great cause!

I’d been looking for awhile for a non-profit to get involved with, and as soon as I attended my first Friday Night Before Mardi Gras event, I know it was it. They organize professional, creative, affordable events that benefit a diverse group of LGBTQ organizations, and the annual ball is one of the best events I’ve ever attended. I’m looking forward to getting more involved as FNBMG continues to grow and expand in New Orleans.

The Ball venue, the Cannery, was excellent. I find that the venue offers something for everyone. From the wonderful great room for dancing to the side rooms for talking. I also love that you can get in and out easily during the carnival season

The 2016 Ball was excellent. My partner enjoyed the elevated food choices. It was much better with the DJs and the costumes were off the chart. I couldn’t believe the number of people who came in costume!
