Supported Charities: The Purpose Behind the Parties
Since our Ball first began benefiting local charities in 1999, FNBMG has been able to donate more than $200,000 to a wide variety of organizations in the Greater New Orleans area. These nonprofits impact the lives of thousands of people every year. It is an honor to support them as we work together to build support, awareness and community. We hope you'll join us as we help provide an array of services to the LGTBQ community.

2018 Grant Application Guidelines
PART 1: INTRODUCTION
Friday Night Before Mardi Gras supports the LGBTQ community in Greater New Orleans by raising funds on behalf of other non-profit organizations. Recent beneficiaries have included organizations focused on HIV/AIDS services, suicide prevention, LGBTQ elder advocacy, youth empowerment and meal delivery for AIDS and cancer patients.
As Friday Night Before Mardi Gras (FNBMG) expands the scope of its fundraising efforts, raising even greater sums for distribution, we seek to more formalize the process by which we identify deserving organizations, distribute funds, and engage these organizations on an ongoing basis.
FNBMG brings the LGBTQ community together with fun worthwhile events, while fundraising for LGBTQ nonprofits in New Orleans. We hope that our partnerships through Parties with a Purpose create cross promotion, allow for nonprofits to extend their outreach, and have fun in the process.
